School Mandated Reporter Training

Days: INTERNET TRAINING PROGRAM -- STUDENTS WORK AT THEIR OWN PACE, IN THEIR OWN ENVIRONMENT.
 
THERE ARE FIVE STATE MANDATED REPORTING PROVISIONS FOR SCHOOL EMPLOYEES. THESE INCLUDE:

· SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE REPORTING (P.C. 11166.5)
· ATTACKING OR MENACING A SCHOOL EMPLOYEE (E.C. 44014)
· COMMITTING ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON (E.C. 48902)
· POSSESSING OR SELLING DRUGS ON CAMPUS (E.C. 48902)
· POSSESSING WEAPONS ON CAMPUS (E.C. 48902)

The State of California considers all school personnel are mandated reporters for the above listed statues. This includes a requirement for child Abuse reporting that all school personnel as a prerequisite to their employment shall sign a statement on a form provided to him or her by the employer to the effect that he or she knows they are a mandated reporters and they will comply with the California laws (P.C. 11166.5). These laws also require the employer to provide copies of the relevant law sections to the employee.

OUR COURSE COVERS ALL FIVE OF THE ABOVE PROVISIONS INCLUDING THE CHILD ABUSE COMPONENT. IT IS DESIGNED TO BE TAKEN OVER THE INTERNET BY THE STUDENT TO ELIMINATE THE COSTS FOR TRAINING, TRAVEL, AND OVERTIME TO THE DISTRICT. STUDENTS WORK AT THEIR OWN PACE, IN THEIR OWN ENVIRONMENT.

THIS COURSE APPLIES TO: School Administrators, Teachers, Instructional Aids, Teachers Aids, All Classified Employees, Head Start Program Teacher, School Security Officers, Campus Monitors, Safety Officers, Child Welfare and Attendance Personnel.

The student is provided with the most current and up to date training. At the end of the training session the student must pass an open book multiple choice test in order to receive their certificate of training. Students are also able to print training materials for future reference.

Registration includes: Penal Code 11166.5 waiver, Internet course, printable reference information, and a Certificate of Successful Completion
