School Security Officer / Campus Monitor Training SB1626
THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED TO BE BROUGHT TO YOUR SCHOOL FACILITY AND TAUGHT ON YOUR SITE TO ELIMINATE TRAVEL AND LODGING EXPENSES FOR YOUR STAFF. DATES OF CLASSES CAN BE TAILORED TO FIT YOUR SCHOOL SCHEDULE, THIS INCLUDES SATURDAY CLASSES.

In accordance with SB 1626, California State Law requires that all Security Officers / Campus Monitors working in a K-12 School District or Community College, more than 20 hours per week are mandated to complete a course of instruction developed by the Bureau of Consumer Affairs by July 1, 2002.

With this new mandated training for School Security Officers and Campus Monitors there is a significant need to train these personnel as close to the July 1, 2002 deadline as possible.

D-Prep, LLC offers this three-day, 24-hour certification taught by a combination of expert instructors who have extensive experience regarding security and police operations in the unique school environment.

Curriculum: Role and Responsibility of School Security Officer (4hr) / Laws and Liability (8hr) Security Awareness in the Educational Environment (3hr) / Mediation and Conflict Resolution (4hr) / Disasters and Emergencies (1hr) / Dynamics of Student Behavior (3hr) / Examination (1hr)
