PAS - OPERATION AND CALIBRATION

This course is an eight-hour POST certified curriculum focusing on the Preliminary Alcohol Screening-PAS device. It is designed to teach the individual officer how to operate and calibrate the device along with extensive instruction in courtroom testimony and the legal challenges to the PAS.

EACH COURSE WE PRESENT IS SPECIFIC TO A CERTAIN PAS DEVICE (ie. Drager, Intoximeters or Lifelock) PLEASE NOTE THE CLASS SPECIFIC CONTENT NEXT TO THE CLASS LOCATION AND SIGN-UP FOR THE CLASS THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR THE DEVICE YOUR DEPARTMENT USES.


** You will need to bring your PAS Device to the class along with your method of conducting an Accuracy Check - either a Dry Gas or Wet Bath Solution - in order to demonstrate proficiency assisted by the Instructor.
