The course is designed to provide a comprehensive review of current field tactics, with an emphasis on the use of a four-step Critical Incident Response Plan that will be developed in class. The student will be exposed to case studies and will participate in tabletop exercises that will allow them to apply this Critical Incident Response Plan to a variety of critical incidents that could be encountered by Field Probation Officers.
